When we awoke on Wednesday (very, very early) it was perfectly sunny and warm so we knew it was a good day to check out the beaches. It always seems amazing to me that a city as urban as Sydney is just 10 minutes away from beautiful beaches that resemble a beautiful pacific island. Today we took the bus and "had a walkabout" from Bondi Beach toward Coogee Bay. It was absolutely stunning.
Before getting started, we stopped at a oceanside burger joint called
Moo Burgers and ate WAY too much. But how could we possibly resist a burger that has pineapple, beet root, bacon, cheese, and goodness knows what other kinds of odd Australian toppings? They had kangaroo burgers as well but I couldn't bring myself to eat one...
After that, we definitely needed to walk off a few million calories, so we took the Bondi-Tamarama walk and were stunned by how beautiful each and every vista was...
